VW T4 California - from family ownership, ready for new adventures

We are selling this VW T4 California on behalf of the community of heirs. The camper comes from the estate of our parents. We are not interested in making a profit - we simply want to sell it at a realistic value to someone who can use it properly again.

Our parents bought the bus to travel in when they retired. However, shortly after starting his retirement, our father became ill - unfortunately, it was no longer possible to take long trips in the camper. After his death, our mother also became seriously ill; she passed away last year. The camper was therefore only really used for short city trips - most of the time it was parked in a carport or shed. Our father always took good technical care of the vehicle, but its appearance was never that important to our parents. That's why the bus is clearly used on the outside, but technically in good condition - and a real bargain thanks to the low mileage.

Technical condition and mileage:

- The bus has run 145,617 km - really low for a T4.

- The engine runs smoothly and powerfully.

- The MOT expired in February 2025 and the exhaust needs to be replaced - both of which are already taken into account in the expert report.

Equipment and special features:

- Pop-top roof with additional sleeping option (rare ski bed roof)

- As far as we know, the front seats are swivel seats.

- The original gas stove was removed by our father, as the old design no longer complied with the current specifications for gas tests. It was no longer possible to convert it for health reasons - the last thing he had planned was a mobile appliance. This was also taken into account when the expert opinion was drawn up.
